introduction:

hi! I’m Mary, a first-generation immigrant and recent graduate

Since moving to the U.S., I’ve lived in a community facing environmental challenges that have shaped my perspective. Growing up in low-income housing, I saw the constant struggles of those around me, and those experiences fueled my desire to make a difference. These experiences ignited my passion for graphic design and architecture, as I believe in their power to amplify marginalized voices and spark social change. I studied architecture at UC Berkeley, driven by a passion for creating sustainable and inclusive spaces for underrepresented communities.
